Rovers & Rangers

Rovers & Rangers is the higher wing of Bharat Scout and Guide. Rover refers to the boys group and Ranger refers to the girls group. The purpose of the movement is to contribute to the development of the young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national and international committees. In our college Rover & Ranger Team was registered on 18th March 2016, with one unit of Rovers (comprising of 24 boys) called ‘Subhash Chandra Crew’ and one unit of Rangers (comprising of 24 girls) called ‘Maa Rangers Team’. The students enrolled in Rovers & Rangers Team undergo a three days’ camp each year after which they are entitled for the certificate. Throughout the year various activities like Voters Awareness Programme, Social Service, Tree Plantations, etc. are held under the banner of Rovers & Rangers unit. Dr. Suresh Kumar Singh is the In-charge of Rovers Team and Dr. Deepshikha is the In-charge of Rangers Team.
