About College

M.K.G.D. College, Gabhana (Aligarh) is situated on the Grand Trunk Road, – NH 91, at a distance of 100 km South-East of New Delhi and 80 km from Noida and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. It is named after the name of Manyawar Kanshiram, an Indian politician and social reformer who worked for the upliftment and political mobilization of the Bahujans in India.

Government Degree College, Gabhana was established in 2007 with multi-disciplinary subjects under graduation level by the Government of Uttar Pradesh with the aim of providing Higher Education to the young students of Gabhana and the adjoining areas.

The location of the college is very important from a geographical point of view as there are no other degree colleges in the neighboring area of almost 25 km. Before the opening of this college, students had to go to Khurja, Khair, or Aligarh for further studies.

The college is spread over 4.5 acres of land with a huge playground. College got sanction of 2F/12B under UGC Act in the year 2011-12. Science and commerce faculty have also started from the session 2021-22. As of now, we have a wealth of 600 students on roll and fourteen faculty members.

The MKGD College has affiliation with the newly formed Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh.
